"The last time I saw the West Pier it was in it's beautifully decaying pre-fire state and I was fascinated by it (so this was about 15 years ago), up until a couple of years ago I had held on to a wonderful article about it with some wonderful photography. It was great to finally see it again, even if it is a burnt out skeleton, it is still wonderful and I am just glad it's still standing.”
