Part of the four lions sit either side of Victoria Road in the village of Saltaire in West Yorkshire. The lions all have their own characters the two on either side of Victoria Hall are War and Peace and opposite them are Vigilance and Determination.

Local stories say at night the lions are said to come alive, to wander down to the River Aire and take a drink from its waters.
