I'm delighted to say that I will be at this event, the Hepworth Wakefield's first ever Print Fair, which will be held at the fantastic venue of The Calder, the gallery's contemporary art space. 

Featuring a over 50 printmaker stalls, handpicked from around the UK, so expect to find some beautiful work using a variety of techniques, and styles which include fine art prints, printed textiles, artists’ books and much more. Come along to discover the finest prints to suit every taste and budget.

Some of the galleries at the Fair will include B&B Gallery (Sheffield), West Yorkshire Print Studio (Mirfield), Colours May Vary (Leeds) and Emma Mason Gallery (Sussex). Printmakers will include June Russell Fine Art Printmaker, Helen Peyton and James Green.

The fair will be accompanied by free printmaking workshops and a talk by legendary printmaker Stanley Jones (Curwen Studio) at 2pm (£5).

There will be free family activities across the weekend. On Saturday 21st Nick from The Print Project will be running a drop-in letterpress printing workshop. And on Sunday 22nd West Yorkshire Print Workshop will be demonstrating screen-printing and drypoint.
