So glad to be coming back to the seaside, and this wonderful event The Staithes Festival of Art and Heritage in one of my favourite places.  I will be again exhibiting at Greystones, a 17th century grade II listed house that was originally a village inn called the Golden Lion – and reputedly a hotbed of smuggling activity! 

I have come together with a great bunch of artists…

Caroline Brogden, contemporary jeweller (formally Sea Breeze Designs), makes beautiful hand made jewellery inspired by the sea in both silver and gold.

Charlotte Morrison makes ceramics inspired by vintage packaging and her most recent collection looks at paths and contours in the Yorkshire landscape.

Jillian Riley Designs producing porcelain vessels inspired by mythology and a passion for things that are a little on the dark side.

Visitors can walk the maze of lanes visiting these spaces as well as taking part in a programme of guided walks, workshops, talks and film shows. Heritage too plays an important part in the life of the village and will be celebrated in events and exhibitions throughout the weekend.
